Well I know it has been awhile since I have updated my blog, so here are some pictures I wanted to share with you all. We were lucky enough to go to Florida last month. We spent a few days in Daytona Beach, and then we took of on the Disney Cruise headed for the Bahamas and the their own island called Cast Away. The kids sure did have a good time on the boat!! Lilly and Denam did suprisingly well with all the characters on the ship. They did a lot of swimming over the week we were gone. The weather was nice, we did get a lot of rain. Paul made some friends on the ship as well, he did a lot of "hide and go seek" all over the ship. Talk about a good time to be a kid again!!! Some of the pictures I am posting are from our resort in Daytona. We were right on the beach!! We went with a few friends of ours, so the kids were all wound up!! Who am I kidding, they are still all wound up. These girls have been on some weird high all summer!! Paul left for Mexico with his father right after we returned from Florida! He is the traveling man for sure!! If anyone ever has the luxury of going on this cruise, be sure and stay on the ship instead of getting off at the Bahamas. Reason being, we owned the ship for most of that day. Lilly got to hang out with Goofy for like 15 straight minutes!! He hung out on the rail with her, she said it was her favorite part of the vacation. The girls then got to hang out with Daisy, Mickey, and Minney for along time as well. They did a lot of swimming on the ship as well. The first night was awsome, they get out of port and as soon as it gets dark, firework time!! They went on for like 10 straight minutes!! Bam Bam Bam!!! The food on the boat was fantastic as well. They do not cut any corners thats for sure. The pictures of the kids buried in the sand are from our last day, at Coco Beach. Very nice beach. Nice and clean. All of the other photos are from Daytona. Well, I hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as Cara and I. Hope all is well with everyone, I'll update with some more pictures soon!! The Sample Family.

Well, its time again to update the old blog. The pictures I am going to add today are the ones of the kids from Venice beach in California. We took the kids out West for Paul's gym meet where he did well. We flew into LA and drove to Bakersfield for his actual meet. We were in Old man Sam's backyard. It was a pretty drive up through the mountains into Bakersfield. A lot of fog in that town. There is a snapshot of Denam on her very first flight and her first time to the beach as well! She loved it, but is still upset with her mom and dad for not bringing her bucket with us! We walked all around and saw all the weirdos that hang out there.
These other pics are of them at Paul's gym for his 11th Birthday. They all had a good time jumping into the pit of foam squares. This was also DD first experience on the mats at gym, she has been patiently waiting to play after all of the practice's she has been to for her bro and sissy. We had the pleasure of taking Lilly Jane to UNM for her tennis lessons. She learned how to play at the net this series of practices. She is also mastering this at the Wii, she loves to play tennis!! I have also included a snap shot of Paul hanging out in the Olympic Rings, he took 3rd in the pommel horse and 11th overall in his age-group just two weeks ago. He is doing well! There is Kylee, Paul, and Lilly on their new bikes from Grandpa Tom and Gramma Gerry on Christmas 08'. Well, I guess I will go for now but will be in touch soon!

Well hello everyone and good day. If you have made it here I guess you got my email. I am setting up my first blog page so everyone can keep up with these kids of ours. I am not much of a facebook or myspace person so I thought I would at least set up a blog page. I hope everyone is doing well. Cara, Paul, and I are on our way to Colorado Springs this weekend for his gymnastics meet. We went last year as well, it is held at the Olympic Training Center, so it is top notch to say the least. The girls are staying here with Cara's folks so they can get spoiled once again. He is scaring his momma pretty good with the difficulty as a level 6 kid. He is doing his 2 giants on highbar ending with a back flip! His strong events are the pommel horse, vault and the rings. He is working very hard on his backhand springs followed with a back tuck. He was chosen to be his team captain again this year! We are glad he enjoys it and he works out 4 days a week for like 4 hours a day! Man, don't know where he gets his energy!! Lilly is also a little gymnastics girl. She is learning how to read being so big in Kindergarden and all. She is reading really well actually. It is funny, everywhere we go she is reading the street signs and store signs and so forth. Denam Dawn is quite the character as well. She thinks she can do whatever her sissy does. She is doing good at her school as well. (Daycare really, but don't tell her that.) She is a big girl doing her ABC's and learning how to dance in her Kids can dance class. She is going to do a performance some time soon, and I will update her pictures in her to to. Thats all for now, but I hope you enjoy this pictures of them doing their things.
Peace out,
The Sample's
